Kirsten joined us in 2018 after moving from Far North Queensland. She has completed a Diploma of Business Administration and is currently studying both Audiometry and Psychology.
The chance to help people improve their quality of life is what drew her to the hearing industry. Kirsten enjoys immersing herself in learning new things, and recently the industry advancements in hearing aid technology have sparked her interest. Her career goal is to complete her Audiometry training and continue applying her knowledge in the industry. She derives a lot of job satisfaction from understanding patients’ needs and providing the best solutions. Kirsten has found that because hearing is such a vital ingredient to leading a fulfilling life, the patients she engages with are incredibly thankful for her contributions (big and small), which creates a rewarding atmosphere in the clinic.
Kirsten is originally from Innisfail in Far North Queensland. She has lived on the Sunshine Coast for over three years now and loves the friendly people, beaches and the vast array of coastal facilities. She has a treasured cat named Ellie and likes staying active through mountain hiking, the gym and weightlifting. Her family are close and enjoy hanging out and spending quality time together whenever possible. When they get the chance to visit, they like to get out and spend time in their favourite places in their different towns. Kirsten is a big movie fan, and her favourites are horrors and thrillers, with the odd comedy thrown in for good measure. Thai food is her meal of choice, but for now with her busy schedule, she prefers to order in and leave exotic cooking to the experts!
